Description

Part of a series of practice commissions, with my friend Li-Lii as the client. Made with Photoshop CC, time unrecorded.

Li-Lii requested an otter-dragon design with neutral and natural looking colors, which in the end looked less dragon like than the first design sketches. After multiple revisions we both agreed that he looked better without wings. Apart from otter the anatomy is mixed with crocodile and pangolin.

The tack was designed to be able to carry a lot of items and is waterproof since his handler is riding with him both in water and on land. Colors and details on the tack are based on things meaningful to the client.

His name means pinecone in Swedish! x3
